What happens when kids can individualize their
education within a supportive community?
At the Agile Learning Center in New York City, we’ve intentionally created such a community. In fact, we create it continuously through regular engagement in practices of intention setting, creation, reflection, and sharing that help us grow. We self-direct while supporting each other in creating the world we want to live in.
We want this kind of education to be accessible to everyone. That said, we rely on tuition to cover our operating costs, and many of our families already receive financial aid in the form of a tuition discount. This doesn’t leave us much room in the budget for offering extra aid to families during tough periods or enrolling new families who simply can’t afford even the lowest tuition rate we offer.
You can help! Through this page, you can donate to
our Scholarship Fund!
All donations through this page go to the Scholarship Fund, which will be used to ease the burden of tuition for families in need whose self-directed learners contribute or seem likely to contribute positively to the ALC-NYC community. The Finance Committee will be responsible for managing the Scholarship Fund and its dissemination.
The Agile Learning Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
