We respect cultural and religious holidays even if we can’t organize our calendar around them all. To support our full-week cycle (and working parents!), there are many holidays where school is still in session.
When students choose to observe holidays outside of school, they are recorded as “learning off-site” rather than “absent.” In some cases, we will choose to celebrate holidays together while in session.
